Job Title: Mobile Finance Expert

Period: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

Experts in Mobile Commerce, Mobile Banking and Mobile Money Remittance and to manage, operate and further develop these solutions for our client. Provides professional guidance and support to subordinates in carrying out the assigned functions.This is a full time, remote position, with work onsite for 2-3weeks per quarter(tickets, accommodation, health insurance in Iraq are included).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Mobile Money (M-Commerce system of eServGlobal) administrator;
  • Application configuration, integration with SMSC Gateway;
  • Candidate with experience in eServGlobal system will be preferred;
  • Perform preventive maintenance, health checks, and performance tuning;
  • Ensure the accomplishment of the frequent tasks (Daily, weekly, monthly,..) on time;–Coordinate with the different operational teams (infrastructure, Database, etc.) for issues resolution, health checks, and performance improvements;
  • Overall activities & ongoing improvement of Mobile Commerce Services (including Mobile Payments, Mobile Money Transfer, Mobile Banking, Mobile NFC, mParking and other mobile financial services);
  • Contribute to the development of Standard Operation Procedures(SOPs) documents;
  • Deliver training to end users in support of use of the application, or upgrades, and enhancements;
  • Perform any additional operational tasks that are up-coming during the operations;
  • Defines the overall product & service portfolio for Mobile Commerce Services.

Education, Experience and other Requirements

Education & Training

  • A Bachelor’sDegree from an accredited University or Education Institute in one of the following disciplines (Engineering, Information Technology, and Computer Science).

Professional Experience & Knowledge

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in mobile money solutions while working in a mobile telecom service provider;
  • Application configuration, integration with SMSC Gateway;
  • Candidate with experience in eServGlobal system will be preferred;
  • Previous experience working in a global and/or remote operations environment, raising incidents in an incident management system (Remedy or similar) and escalating urgent issues;
  • M-Commerce solution from eServGlobal; experience in other similar solutions will also be considered.

Skills & Competency

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
  • Familiarity with ITIL is mandatory;
  • Ability to communicate easily and well with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels, with strong customer service skills;
  • Possess multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure;
  • Proven ability to work in a multicultural environment with respect and sensitivity for diversity;
  • Fluency in spoken and written English;
  • Arabic will be a plus.
